Cubs talent Pete Crow-Armstrong took revenge after beanball incident in the most epic way ever

Pete Crow-Armstrong hasn’t been back in Triple-A for long, but his week was full of highlights.

The highlight on Friday evening was by far the best yet.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, Indianapolis pitcher Wily Peralta threw behind Crow-Armstrong on the first pitch… and then again on the second pitch.

Marty Pevey, the manager of the Iowa Cubs, came out to protest and was ejected from the game when he defended his player. Both teams were eventually cautioned.

This set the stage for Crow-Armstrong’s epic rejoinder.

“I hope he hits the next baseball 5,000 feet,” said Iowa commentator Alex Cohen.

Crow-Armstrong almost made this bold claim come true.

On the first pitch after this ordeal, Crow-Armstrong crushed a solo home run into right field, ramming the bat into the ground with an emphatic spike.

Crow-Armstrong then took his time circling the bases, getting both the crowd and his teammates excited.

Crow-Armstrong has been in top form since being re-assigned to the minor leagues earlier this week. In 4 games with Iowa, he has multiple hits in each game, along with 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 8 runs scored.
