McDonald County motorcyclist killed in accident

MCDONALD COUNTY, Missouri – A motorcyclist from Anderson, Missouri, was killed after a crash Thursday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the accident occurred on May 23 at around 12:30 p.m.

William D. Leach, 73, was traveling west on State Highway 90 near Jane when his Indian motorcycle went off the right side of the road, overturned and struck a traffic sign. Leach died at the scene.

MSHP also said Leach was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

This is the 37th fatal accident for MSHP Troop D in 2024.
