1 man shot dead in Okolona

A man was shot in Okolona late Saturday evening, according to Louisville Metro Police. At approximately 11:45 p.m., Seventh Division officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 7500 block of Dunwoody Court. That’s about a mile west of Jefferson Mall. When they got there, they found a man with a gunshot wound. They said he had no pulse, but they still attempted to perform CPR and other life-saving measures. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating the incident. There are currently no known suspects.
