2 dead, 2 in hospital after shooting at Louisville club in Southland Park neighborhood, police say | Crime reports

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Two people were killed in a shooting at a Louisville nightclub early Saturday morning, according to Louisville Metro Police.

LMPD responded to the Hot Spot in the Southland Park neighborhood around 5 a.m. to a shooting in the 200 block of Evangeline Avenue. When police arrived at the scene, they found a man who had been shot.

Police also found a man and a woman who had been shot. They were taken to University of Louisville Hospital. Police said a man who was shot on Evangeline Avenue arrived at the hospital a short time later with a gunshot wound.

According to police, one of these men later died in hospital.

Police said the other victims in the hospital were stable.

The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting. The identities of those killed in the shooting have not been released.
