Man accused of rape and indecent behavior with juveniles arrested in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Baton Rouge police have arrested a man accused of first-degree rape and lewd conduct with a juvenile.

On Friday, May 10, the BRPD Special Victims Unit arrested 51-year-old Christopher Francis in connection with the July 2023 sexual assault of a juvenile.

Police said the investigation began in August 2023 and investigators obtained an arrest warrant in April 2024.

According to police, an anonymous tip from Crime Stoppers led to his arrest. Francis was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Jail and charged with first-degree rape and lewd conduct with a juvenile.
