Former Keansburg man sexually abused his second child more than 20 years ago, prosecutors say

A grand jury has indicted 45-year-old Robert Wisiak on a charge of first-degree aggravated sexual assault. Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Julia Alonso announced the charges in a press release on Monday, July 29.

Wisiak, who formerly lived in Keansburg, got arrested on Friday, October 20, 2023. According to investigators, he sexually abused a child under the age of 13 between 1999 and 2001.

After Wisiak’s arrest, a second victim came forward. This victim was also younger than 13 years old and was sexually abused during the same period.

Prosecutors said convictions in cases like this carry a sentence of up to 20 years in prison, lifetime probation and registration as a sex offender under Megan’s Law.
