It’s not often that anyone, let alone a New Hampshire police officer, holds a swan. But animal control officer Bob Langis did just that during a special rescue Thursday. An injured swan in Nashua was picked up and taken for evaluation. NASHUA, N.H. –

It’s not often that anyone, let alone a New Hampshire police officer, holds a swan. But that’s exactly what animal control officer Bob Langis did during a special rescue Thursday.

An injured swan in Nashua was picked up and taken for evaluation.

Nashua police said the swan’s leg was injured, but the bird was being cared for at Wings of the Dawn in Henniker.
