Suspect in two assaults on Houston park trails arrested in Cincinnati | News

According to a press release, the Logansport Police Department, in conjunction with the Cincinnati Police Department, was able to locate and capture a fugitive who had been evading arrest for two days. The arrest follows two assaults that occurred at Houston Park along the trail on July 17.

Deonizio Teo Pascal, 25, of Logansport, was arrested Friday morning in Cincinnati, Ohio. According to a previous press release, the first assault occurred around 10 a.m. and the second around 6 p.m. Both victims in those cases were women walking alone.

The Logansport and Cincinnati police departments were able to locate and arrest Pascal without incident. Logansport police would like to thank the community for their continued support and cooperation throughout the search for Pascal, the news release said.

“The arrest of Deonizio Teo Pascal marks an important step in the search for justice for attempted rape,” the press release said.

Anyone with additional information about this case is encouraged to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigations. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
