Woman dies in car accident in Montgomery County

CLAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) – A woman is dead following a car accident on Thursday, May 9th.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Dayton post says the crash occurred around 1:46 p.m. on State Route 48 near Old Salem Road in the town of Clayton.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a 2013 Lexus RX, driven by Randy Duncan, 64, of Huber Heights, was traveling south on SR-48, crossed the northbound lanes left of center and left the roadway, against hit a sign and a tree before overturning.

Duncan was taken to Miami Valley Hospital and later pronounced dead, according to police.
