Charresa McCrary is looking for the right size.

Her kids need school uniforms, but there’s a catch.

“I always think, ‘Wow! This is just too expensive,’” Charresa said. Berndt Petersen from Channel 2.

But not at the third annual uniform giveaway at All Saints Episcopal Church in Midtown Atlanta.

Organizers say the need has never been greater.

“In 24 hours, we had over 400 families sign up and there are over 900 kids,” said event director Marcia Mayfield.

A year ago, there were only 500 of them.

Without this help, many families would be deprived of everything.

“I buy enough for four people. So I’m grateful for that,” said Tequila Williams, a mother.

McCrary says the gift is a godsend and she is grateful.
