ABC-7 First Alert: Severe weather warning for the weekend; heavy rain in places

There is plenty of moisture in place for any storms that develop over the weekend and early next week. Storms will develop to the north and over the mountains and move south. Rain will not be everywhere, but the storms that do appear will be very efficient rain producers and will send gusty downdrafts. Temperatures will continue to be below average for this time of year – highs around 35 degrees.
