Early morning murder in Tucson under investigation

TUCSON, Arizona (13 News) – A Tucson man died Friday, July 12, as emergency responders attempted to help him.

Tucson Police responded to an early morning incident report near W Miracle Mile and N Oracle Rd when the man was found with serious injuries.

Tucson officers and firefighters attempted to save the man’s life, but he died at the scene. TPD identified him as Ian Lopez.

A suspect has not yet been identified and TPD has not released any further details about the attack. The investigation is ongoing.
