GoFundMe campaign launched for family of autistic boy hit and killed by car in Florence, Kentucky

FLORENCE, Ky. (FOX 56) – A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help cover expenses for four-year-old Jamison Beck, a non-speaking autistic child who died in a car accident on Sunday.

The Boone County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) said Beck died Monday at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital after being struck by a car on the Weaver Road overpass over westbound I-75.

Authorities said the accident remains under investigation. Speeding, alcohol and drugs have been ruled out as factors and no charges have been filed.

After the first day, Beck’s GoFundMe has raised $3,040 of its $10,000 goal. According to GoFundMe, the funds raised will help the family pay for funeral costs and any unexpected expenses as the family mourns the loss of their son.

Anyone who would like to donate can visit the GoFundMe page.
