Mangaluru: Robbery in Ulaibettu – Accused Cong member expelled from the party

Mangalore, July 7: Vasant, a Congress-backed member of the Neerumarga Gram Panchayat and the main accused in the robbery of businessman Padmanabha Kotian’s house in Permanki, Ulaibettu, has been expelled from the party with immediate effect.

The Gurupur Block Congress Committee said, “Vasant is debarred from the basic membership of the party with immediate effect for violating the rules and regulations of the party and damaging the status and honour of the party.”
