Hesperia man arrested for grand larceny in Crestline; officials search for additional victims – VVNG.com

CRESTLINE, California (VVNG.com) — The Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station is appealing for any additional victims to come forward in a case of financial theft. Ruben Concepciona 30-year-old man from Hesperia.

Concepcion, who does business under the name Dreamscapes Full Exterior Landscaping, was allegedly paid for residential construction work but failed to deliver the promised services. The reported damages to one victim are $30,000.

Authorities discovered that Concepcion is on probation in San Bernardino County for working without a contractor’s license and has multiple warrants out for his arrest in Riverside County for fraud and grand theft.

On July 1, 2024, Concepcion was arrested at his home in the 7500 block of Farmdale Avenue in Hesperia on a warrant issued by Ramey in connection with this case.

He is currently being held at the High Desert Detention Center on charges of grand larceny, bail is set at $160,000, and he is also being held on probation violation charges.

According to public court records, Concepcion was arrested in July 2023 for Driving Under the Influence (VC23152(A)) and sentenced on April 25, 2024. He was sentenced to 8 days in jail with 4 days credit. His sentence included misdemeanor probation and he was ordered to attend and complete an alcohol education program. His probation was set to end in April 2027.

Concepcion faced numerous small claims lawsuits throughout the county ranging in amount from $1,500 to $10,000. Many of these cases were either closed, dismissed or ended in judgment.
