Woman in her 20s in critical condition after being hit by car in Pittsburgh

A woman in her 20s was taken to the hospital in critical condition after being struck by a car. The incident occurred near the Pittsburgh neighborhoods of Squirrel Hill and Shadyside. According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, the incident occurred just before 9:45 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of 5th Avenue and Wilkins Avenue. Police said the driver of the vehicle remained on scene and provided information to police. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
