Heavy police presence reported at Sky Valley RV park

A heavy police presence was reported at a mobile home park near the dependent community of Sky Valley.

There is a heavy police presence in the 71,000 block of Dillon Road.

A spokesperson for the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office said officers were called to the area around 12:15 p.m. for a verbal dispute. Officers concluded it was an attempted carjacking.

“Because it is believed that the suspect may be on the large property, the Riverside Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Bureau has enlisted their assistance,” wrote RSO Lieutenant Deirdre Vickers, the agency’s press secretary.
