Police have released a photo of a man they want to speak to after a woman was sexually assaulted at a nightclub earlier this month.

While the investigation continues, police now want to speak to the man pictured, who may have “important information.”

PC Jordan Vasey, of Middlesbrough Police’s incident response team, said: “If anyone recognises the man pictured, please contact us as we believe they may have vital information.

“I would also like to appeal directly to the man in the photo to please contact us.
