YCSO: 2 suspects in credit card theft in Prescott Valley

The two suspects used the credit card of a “prominent” Prescott Valley resident to steal electrical cables worth about $17,000, authorities said.

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Arizona – The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two people suspected of stealing the credit card of a prominent Prescott Valley resident, authorities said.

The YCSO said two people picked up approximately $17,000 worth of electrical cords from Prescott Valley Home Depot. The order was placed over the phone and then charged to the credit card of a “prominent Prescott Valley citizen.”

If you saw the two individuals or the pickup truck they were driving, contact Detective Todd Swaim at 928-554-8605. The YCSO did not provide 12News with any further details on the identity of the “prominent” citizen or the circumstances leading up to the purchase.
