Two children hit by gunfire in Buffalo

Buffalo, NY (WBEN) – Buffalo Police are investigating a shooting that occurred just before 9:30 Friday evening.

Officers from the Ferry-Fillmore District responded to the call in the first block of Domedion Avenue.

Detectives say two young children were struck by gunfire during an outdoor gathering.

The two young children were transported to local hospitals. Authorities say the injuries suffered by one of the children appear serious.
