AGUANGA, CA (June 21, 2024) – Five people were injured in a three-car crash on Highway 79 near Sage Road.

According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the multi-vehicle crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. For unknown reasons, three vehicles collided in the southeastern Inland Empire. Shortly afterward, Riverside County Fire Department paramedics responded to the crash near Temecula and rescued at least one person who was trapped in their respective vehicles.

Three people, including two with moderate injuries, were taken to hospital by ambulance. Two other victims were airlifted to hospital.

Traffic investigators did not provide any information about what led to the incident, but they will investigate the accident further to determine the causes.
