Man dies after falling from roof of Rocky River Police Station

ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – An investigation is ongoing after a 63-year-old man died Wednesday morning after falling from the roof of the Rocky River police station.

The man, a subcontractor from Alabama, was found unconscious on the ground in the gas station parking lot around 10:40 a.m., police said.

According to Rocky River police, his death was pronounced at the scene.

“There is currently no evidence of foul play,” said Rocky River police.

The death investigation is being conducted by the Cuyahoga County Coroner’s Office.

According to police, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has been notified.
