Flooding reported on Houston-area roads as tropical rains hit

HOUSTON – Heavy rain from the outer bands of Tropical Storm Alberto is impacting the Houston area, causing flooding on a few roads.

KPRC 2 FLOOD MONITORING: Be alerted if flooding occurs in your immediate area

KPRC 2 urges residents to “turn around, don’t drown” if they encounter some of these roads, but we also advise drivers before going out.

Here is a list of flood locations by Houston TransStar:

• IH-10 East westbound at Monmouth Dr – frontage road

• IH-10 East eastbound at Monmouth Dr – frontage road
