A source claimed to the news outlet that “allegedly a man broke in” after realizing he was “here to see Drake.” After “the security forces fought him,” they called the police.

The unidentified man also reportedly attempted to gain entry to the “Hotline Bling” rapper’s home “at the gates.”

Page Six reached out to a representative for Drake, 37, but did not immediately receive a response.

The burglary attempt came a day after the rapper’s 48-year-old security guard was attacked multiple times in a drive-by shooting outside the mansion on Park Lane Circle in the posh Bridle Path neighborhood.

After his injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening, he was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital where he underwent surgery.

After the shooting, Toronto Police Inspector Paul Krawczyk of the Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force noted that the investigation was still too early to determine a motive for the incident – but they knew that Drake’s argument with Kendrick Lamar, 36, ) caused a lot of attention.
