Person found dead after reported explosion in Queens: FDNY

COLLEGE POINT, Queens (PIX11) – One person was found dead after an explosion was reported in Queens Tuesday morning, authorities said.

According to the FDNY, the explosion was reported around 8 a.m. at 31-40 College Point Blvd. in College Point.

According to authorities, fire officials from the New York Fire Department and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) are investigating the incident.
