An illegal immigrant has been arrested for the death and rape of a woman in Maryland, USA. The victim – 37-year-old Rachel Morin – was a mother of five children.

An illegal immigrant was arrested for the death and rape of a woman in Maryland, USA. The victim – 37-year-old Rachel Morin – was a mother of five children. The defendant was identified as Victor Antonio Martinez Hernandez of El Salvador. Hernandez, 23, entered the United States illegally in February 2023.

Authorities said the defendant was also wanted for murder in El Salvador. Hernandez was also accused of attacking a mother and her daughter in Los Angeles. Police also determined that Hernandez had ties to Mexican gangs.

Police said Hernandez dragged Rachel Morin into the woods and attacked her. Police say Hernandez has been living in the United States illegally since February 2023.
