The cultural acclimation of the Buffalo Bills’ 2024 NFL draft class is well underway, with the team recently uploading a video of its rookies indulging in local chicken wings for the first time.

The humorous clip shows many of the team’s first-year players trying their first chicken wing. In Buffalo, many of them being… hesitant about the presence of blue cheese on their plates. You can watch the full video below:

Blue cheese is the condiment of choice for chicken wings in Western New York, a realization many Buffalo rookies make for the first time in this video. Ranch is the main wing dip in other parts of the country and world, but it’s considered blasphemous in Buffalo. Those who dip their wings in ranch dressing might as well walk around with a scarlet letter on their chest.

With the team’s entire rookie class now signed, these are just the first of many chicken wings these players will likely enjoy throughout their respective stays in Buffalo.
