Driver killed in car crash on I-10 – American Press

An early morning car crash on eastbound Interstate 10 left one driver dead.

Lake Charles Police Lt. Jeffrey Keenum said the driver of the vehicle died due to injuries sustained in the 3 a.m. crash near mile marker 32.

The driver’s identity is being withheld until next of kin is notified, Kennum said.

Cpl. Dennis Miller is the lead investigator and Sgt. Scott Dougherty of the Lake Charles Police Department’s Traffic Division is assisting.
