State police arrest Cranston man after incident of aggression while driving

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — A Cranston man was arrested Tuesday following a road rage incident.

Devon Owens, 35, of Cranston was arrested for aggravated assault following an incident on Route 95 South and a subsequent vehicle stop by the Warwick Police Department on Warwick Avenue.

According to a press release from the Rhode Island State Police at Lincoln Woods Barracks, Owens used a device that looked like a firearm.

The Owens case was handled in the custody of the Rhode Island State Police and transferred to Providence District Court for arraignment.
