Marshfield man dies in car crash after hitting tree

WEBSTER COUNTY, Missouri – A Marshfield man died in a car crash in Webster County on Tuesday, June 4.

According to the MSHP accident report, 65-year-old David L. Webb was driving a 2014 Toyota Tundra on Route A five miles south of Marshfield when the accident occurred.

At 10:15 a.m., Webb’s truck left the road and struck a tree, totaling the vehicle. At 11:04 a.m., Webb’s death was pronounced by the Webster County Coroner.

Next of kin have been notified of Webb’s death.

This is the 39th fatal accident for MSHP Troop D in 2024.
