Cobb County Police and Rescuing Hope host event focused on the dangers of human trafficking – WSB-TV Channel 2

COBB COUNTY, Ga. – Cobb County Police and Rescuing Hope hosted an event focused on combating human trafficking.

On Tuesday, police and Rescuing Hope jointly discussed the impact of human trafficking on children and families in the county and state.

They want to educate parents about what they should know about sex trafficking.

“Education is the key to prevention, saving lives and providing HOPE to victims and survivors,” reads a Rescuing Hope flyer.

The event was held at North Metro Church and was hosted by State Representative Devan Seabaugh, District 34.

Keynote speakers at Tuesday’s event included Assistant Attorney General Chris Keegan and Rescuing Hope Program Director Crystal Burdette.
