Michigan man dies in tragic tractor accident: Sheriff

Sheriff’s officials do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.



ST. CLAIR COUNTY, MI — According to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office, a Greenwood Township man was killed in a tragic tractor accident last Friday.

Officials said the 57-year-old man was operating a tractor at a home on Logana Road near Yale Street in Greenwood Township around 6:30 p.m. when he fell from the tractor and was struck by it.

The man was working in a field when his 23-year-old son found him lying in the field, according to the sheriff’s office.

The 57-year-old man was taken to McLaren Port Huron, where he died, according to the sheriff’s office.

Sheriff’s officials do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
