Man arrested after reporting attack

A 43-Year–old Man found himself in handcuffs after reporting that he had been attacked on Sunday morning.

According to police, the man reported at 7 a.m. that a 27-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman had entered his apartment through a window an hour earlier.

According to his claimthe two then attacked him with a knifeHe had some injuries.

The police went to the scene and found two young people who had suffered injuries from a sharp object.

When they were taken to Nicosia Hospital, they reported They had been victims of an attack from the 43-year-old.

They were kept there for treatment.

An arrest warrant was subsequently issued against the elderly man.

The police are pursuing both lines of investigation.
