1 dead in shooting off Midlothian Turnpike

Police said officers responded to the 3600 block of Midlothian Turnpike around 12:45 a.m. Thursday for reports of a shooting. At the scene, officers found an adult male in a vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The coroner will determine the cause and manner of his death.
