TV star Pavitra Jayaram dies in a car accident in Hyderabad, family members are seriously injured

Popular television actress Pavitra Jayaram died on Sunday after a tragic car accident. Pavitra, best known for her show Trinayani, died in Hyderabad after a bus rammed into her car. She traveled with her sister Apeksha, driver Srikant and actor Chandrakant. News of her death sent shockwaves throughout the television industry.

Several news agencies reported that the accident occurred near Mehboob Nagar in Hyderabad. It is said that Pavitra was returning to Hanakere in Mandya district of Karnataka when the tragic accident occurred. According to IANS, the actress’ car lost control and hit a divider. A bus reportedly collided with the right side of the car. Pavitra died on the spot and her fellow passengers are said to have been seriously injured.

Actress Sameeip Acharyaa took to her social media account to express his condolences to her family and fans. He wrote: “I woke up to the news that you are no more. It’s incredible. “My first on-screen mother, you will always be the special one.”

Many took to the comments section of her Instagram posts to mourn her sudden death. “Rest in peace my lady,” one comment said. “Rest in peace I miss you,” another added. “Quiet mom, the beautiful actress made us so sad,” read a third comment.

Pavitra has made a place for herself in the Telugu and Kannada entertainment industry. She starred in projects like Tillottama and Telugu series Trinayani.

In Trinayani, Pavitra shared screen space with Aashika Gopal Padukone, Chandu Gowda, Sri Satya, Priyanka Chowdary, Vishnu Priya, Bhavana Reddy, Anil Chowdary and Challa Chandu. She was also seen as Bucchi Naidu Kandriga with Drishika Chander, Munna, Ravi Varma and Ravi Varma Adduri among others.
