Heavy police presence near Jay Street

ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) – A heavy police presence was observed in the area of ​​Jay Street and Walnut Street Sunday evening.

The emergency services on site tell us that a handful of streets are currently closed and that they have seen almost a dozen police cars. We have contacted the Rochester Police Department and are awaiting further information.

Video returned from our crews on scene shows two cars with significant damage to the front and one of them is a Rochester Police vehicle.
