Pinelands High School student suspended for ‘slave auction’

JOHANNESBURG – Several students at Pinelands High School have been excluded from classes due to alleged racist harassment.

This happened after black students were forced into the role of slaves while their colored classmates pretended to auction them off.

Prices start at R100,000 and increase gradually.

The Western Cape Department of Education described the incident as hurtful and disturbing.
