Seguin High School student dies after serious car crash, principal says

County officials said Chloe Belicek died from injuries she sustained in the accident.

SAN ANTONIO – According to the school district, a 12th-grader at Seguin High School died in a serious car accident Thursday evening.

Seguin ISD Superintendent Dr. Veronica Vijil posted on Facebook that Chloe Belicek died from injuries she sustained in the accident.

“Chloe was a bright, personable young lady who embodied the Matador spirit. She was loved by her teachers, coaches, principals and classmates, especially her teammates on the volleyball and softball teams and her friends in FFA. Our Matador family will miss her. Please join me in praying for Chloe Belicek’s family and friends,” said Dr. Vijil.

St. James Catholic School in Seguin announced it is accepting donations for the family.
