Dallas police investigate fatal early morning shooting | State

DALLAS, Texas – A man was found shot to death in Dallas early Sunday morning, police said.

On July 21, 2024, at approximately 3:55 a.m., Dallas police responded to a call of a shooting in the 3300 block of W. Pentagon Parkway. Upon arrival, officers discovered 31-year-old Patrick Lee Island II lying on the ground with gunshot wounds. The Dallas Fire Department responded, but Island was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a Dallas Police press release.
