A 3-year-old boy who was reported missing Thursday morning was found dead in a body of water, officials said.

Rakim Akbari was found in a body of water near the resort, from which he allegedly ran away, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said.

According to an OCSO post, the boy suffered from autism and was last seen at the Sheraton Vistana Resort Villas at Lake Buena Vista, which is near the Disney theme parks.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued a missing person report for the boy who allegedly disappeared without socks and shoes.
