Mel B explains that she will “always be open” when it comes to her sexuality!

Mel B will “always be open” when it comes to her sexuality.
The 48-year-old Spice Girls singer, who reunited with her bandmates, including the group’s former singer Victoria Beckham, for the fashion designer’s 50th birthday party on Saturday (20.04.24), was in a relationship with 48-year-old Christine Crokos for five years in the early 2000s and is still in contact with the director.
Mel – born Melanie Janine Brown – told Attitude magazine about her lesbian romance: “I fell in love with a woman by chance and was with her for five years. We still talk to this day.”
“I don’t want to pigeonhole it, but I’ve always found women beautiful.”
Mel added that she has always felt part of the LGBTQIA+ community, but has never felt pressured to disclose her sexuality.
She said: “I didn’t start my sexual journey with the mindset of ‘I’m this, I’m that, I’m bisexual.'”
Mel, now engaged to hairdresser Rory McPhee, 35, told The Sun she feels “more confident than ever” after ending her allegedly abusive marriage to Stephen Belafonte.
The former “America’s Got Talent” judge, who was married to 48-year-old film producer Stephen from 2007 to 2017, also told “Attitude” about the emotional trauma he apparently subjected her to during their relationship.
She said: “(Stephen would) say, ‘You look old.’ ‘You look fat.’ ‘God, you’re ugly.’ ‘Your arms are flabby.’
“In a way, these comments are like rain. They seep right into you, they wash away your confidence and your self-esteem, and when you look in the mirror, you don’t see a strong, happy woman – you see a reflection of what you’re being told: ‘fat, ugly, old… worthless.'”
Stephen has always denied Mel’s allegations of emotional abuse.
The former couple share 12-year-old daughter Madison, and mother-of-three Mel also has daughter Phoenix, 25, with her ex-husband, dancer Jimmy Gulzar, 49, and 17-year-old Angel, with 63-year-old comedian Eddie Murphy.
