Mohali: A 19-year-old, who was returning home on a motorcycle, died on the spot after a speeding vehicle hit him from behind and fled the scene. The incident took place near Morinda. The victim, a resident of Mataur, suffered internal bleeding. Police have filed a case against the unidentified driver of the speeding vehicle under relevant sections. They are studying CCTV footage from the area and collecting eyewitness accounts to identify the culprit. tnn
