Man seriously injured in shooting in Norfolk, police say – The Virginian-Pilot

Police in Norfolk are investigating a shooting on Rugby Street that left a man seriously injured.

Police said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Rugby Street, off Tidewater Drive, around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday to take reports of the shooting.

Rescue workers found a man with life-threatening injuries on site. He was taken to hospital.

The shooting is under investigation.
