Delta announces it will suspend all flights between the US and China

WASHINGTON, Jan 31 (Reuters) – Delta Air Lines Inc said on Friday it will temporarily suspend all remaining flights between the United States and China after the U.S. State Department issued a travel warning due to coronavirus concerns.

Delta announced earlier this week that it would cut its U.S.-China schedule in half to about 21 weekly flights.

Delta announced that the last flight to China leaving the U.S. will depart on Monday, February 3, and the last return flight to the U.S. will depart from China on February 5. The suspension is scheduled to last until April 30th. (Reporting by David Shepardson Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
