Man wanted for sexually abusing a teenager in the New York subway

UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan (PIX11) — Authorities say police are searching for a man accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl in an Upper West Side subway station on Wednesday.

A 16-year-old girl was standing in the 96th Street subway station on the No. 1 platform in Uptown around 8 p.m. According to police, a man approached her and sexually assaulted her before leaving the station.


According to police, the victim was not injured.
