Man arrested for quadruple murder in Arkansas

An Alabama man accused of killing three people in Oklahoma and one in Alabama was arrested in Arkansas Thursday morning, according to police. Stacy Lee Drake, 50, was arrested in Morrilton, Arkansas. Officers found Drake in the woods about a half-mile from the Motel 6 where he had been seen Wednesday. They found him in a hammock. He was taken to the Conway County Detention Center. Murder in AlabamaDrake is suspected of killing 62-year-old Russell Thomas Andrews on May 14 at the Alcoholics Anonymous building in Tuscaloosa, according to the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit. Murders in OklahomaPolice believe Drake killed a man in El Reno on Friday, June 14. Phillip Emerson, 56, was found dead in a home on Macomb Ave. Police noted that Emerson’s vehicle was missing. Drake abandoned a truck that was found Saturday on East Redwood Avenue in Sallisaw, according to Sequoyah County Sheriff Larry Lane.On Tuesday night, Drake killed what police believe was a man and a woman near Gans on Highway 64. The two bodies were found inside a store. They were identified as Tara Barnett Underwood and Taylor Sharp.Underwood had three children and was engaged to a man who also had three children.”I just want everyone to remember her as the fun, bubbly, amazing girl that everyone knew,” her sister Tia Barnett said.Tracked to MorriltonOne of the vehicles Drake was linked to was found at a motel in Morrilton.On Wednesday morning, police sent out a 911 alert to phones throughout the area warning people to be on the lookout for Drake. He was arrested in Morrilton on Thursday morning.
