Investigations underway after man found dead in Hillsborough

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is on scene this morning to investigate a death in the 1300 block of 78th Street S, the agency said in a news release.

At around 6:35 a.m., officers were called to the area because a man had been reported dead.

According to officials, the cause of death is unknown, but investigations are ongoing.

The press release states that the man’s death “is believed to be an isolated incident and poses no danger to the public.”
