Wednesday brings the return of the 90s, the alarm day for Thursday

From Wednesday, 6 a.m.: I see a few clouds with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. The first 90 degree high of 2024 hits today with dew points in the mid to upper 60s and that will feel like 92-95. Skies will be partly cloudy this evening with rain and a few storms developing overnight into Thursday morning. A VIPIR 6 Alert has been issued for Thursday for possible severe storms capable of producing large hail, damaging winds, possible flooding and a single tornado. Rain will continue Friday, there will be a few storms and highs will remain in the upper 80s. Mother’s Day weekend looks great with lots of sunshine and cooler highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s.
