Man killed in stabbing in Atlanta, police said

ATLANTA – Police say a man is dead after a fatal stabbing in downtown Atlanta early Thursday morning.

It happened around 1 a.m. at the intersection of Ted Turner Drive and Brotherton Street.

Upon arrival, police found a 32-year-old man in a vehicle who had been stabbed multiple times. He was taken to Grady Hospital, where he later died.

Investigators believe the stabbing was the result of a dispute over money at a nearby gas station.

A suspect is in custody in connection with the incident.
