Police investigate after body found in pool in Fort Lauderdale – NBC 6 South Florida

Police are investigating after a person’s body was discovered in a pool in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday morning.

The discovery took place on Northeast 19th Avenue near 7th Street, where the body was found in a pool of an apartment building.

In the footage, the body was seen next to the pool under a tarp. On the opposite side of the pool was an electric wheelchair, but it has not yet been confirmed whether it belonged to the victim.

The identity of the person was not disclosed.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the incident.
